Fantasy Football Nerd Launches Weekly Rankings

FantasyFootballNerd.com has announced the release of it's new Sit/Start projections and rankings for fantasy football players.

Oshkosh, WI, September 06, 2008 --(PR.com)-- FantasyFootballNerd.com announced today the immediate availability of it's free weekly ranking projections for fantasy football enthusiasts.

FantasyFootballNerd.com is the largest aggregator of fantasy football rankings on the Internet. The Nerd search engine aggregates weekly NFL player projections and provides a cumulative rank for every NFL player. Fantasy football players benefit by viewing cumulative rankings in a single location. Accuracy of the ranking projections increases based upon the vast number of sources that the Nerd searches.

"Projecting how a player will perform is a difficult excercise and the projections vary so much from one site to another. We search multiple sources providing consistency and accuracy to our projections. A novice player may look at just one or two fantasy football websites to make their decision on who to start or sit each week. We make this process easier by searching them all for our users." said J. Joseph Dyken, the creator behind the Nerd.

FantasyFootballNerd.com searches both the major corporate fantasy football sites as well as a number of the leading independent sites. As the season progresses, the Nerd search engine will weight projections based upon the accuracy of the source's previous projections.

Users simply need to create a free account to access the rankings and projections. Weekly projections are updated daily at 12:00 Eastern Time giving players plenty of time for last minute Sit/Start decisions.

The Sit/Start feature follows the ground-breaking launch of the FantasyFootballNerd.com draft rankings which aggregated pre-season draft rankings from 19 leading fantasy football websites. Users may also access additional research features free of charge such as Today in the NFL, Player Watch, Fantasy Football News, and the Nerd's Blog.

The weekly projections in the Sit/Start area of FantasyFootballNerd.com is also available free of charge to developers through the Fantasy Football API. The API allows programmers to integrate the search rankings into their applications.
