Emotional Eating and Stress Program Set for Oct. 7

Public is invited to free community education program on how to control emotional eating set for Oct. 7 in Knoxville, Tennessee.

Knoxville, TN, September 14, 2008 --(PR.com)-- Stress Eating Program Set for Oct. 7.

Improve your weight loss success by learning how to control emotional eating. Clinicians from Covenant Weight Management Center will discuss the topic at a free lunch and learn program Tues., October 7.

“Stressed out? Are you using food to deal with stress?,” will be presented by nurse practitioner Sherril Boozer, MSN, APN, exercise physiologist Stacey Smith, MS, LWMC, and registered dietitian Debi Krieman, MPH, RD.

The clinicians will discuss why we have cravings and turn to comfort foods and offer advice on how to control stress eating and make healthier choices. The noon program will be held at the Covenant Weight Management Center at Fort Sanders West. Participants can brown bag lunch or a boxed lunch is available for only $5.
