Jim Chapman Communities Introduces Four New Floor Plans at Their Active Adult Communities in Gwinnett, Cobb, Forsyth and North Fulton counties

Atlanta, GA, September 14, 2008 --(PR.com)-- Jim Chapman Communities is pleased to announce the introduction of four new floor plans. Welcoming active adults ages 55 and better, Jim Chapman Communities builds step-free ranch condominium homes and detached single family ranch homes in five active adult communities across metro Atlanta. Two of the new ranch condo floor plans, the Oxford II and the Westminster II, will debut at Brookhaven of East Cobb, Brookhaven at Johns Creek, Brookhaven at Sugarloaf and Brookhaven at Lanier Ridge. The new detached single family ranch homes, the Ansley and the Morningside, will be offered solely at Brookhaven at Johns Creek.

Using his experience as a builder of million dollar custom homes, Jim Chapman, President of Jim Chapman Communities, began building elegant yet affordable active adult homes in 2005. Listening to the needs of his customers for over three years Jim Chapman has answered their call for more heated square footage over the garage that can serve as climate controlled storage, a private guest suite or an office. The two new ranch condo floor plans, the Oxford II and the Westminster II, have a 500 square foot bonus room and full bath with walk-in closet above the two-car garage. These bonus rooms are accessible via a permanent staircase off the rear of the kitchen. Still existent from the original plans are the spacious flowing designs with options such as hardwood floors throughout the living areas, gourmet kitchens with optional upgraded countertops, appliances and beautiful custom cabinetry. There are sunrooms, optional screened porches and spacious owners’ suites with vaulted ceilings and luxurious baths. The original Oxford includes two bedrooms and two full baths. The original Westminster includes three bedrooms and two full baths and also has a breakfast nook off the kitchen area. All four variations offer full masonry exteriors with brick and cultured stone, designer coordinated paint colors and other maintenance free building materials such as vinyl clad Anderson windows.

In addition to the two new ranch condo floor plans, Brookhaven at Johns Creek will also debut the new detached single family ranch plans. The Ansley, with approximately 2,250 heated square feet, is a three bedroom, three full bath, one and one half story home with a full daylight basement that is stubbed for a full bath. This plan has a rear lanai that serves as an outdoor covered great room with a standard fireplace and an optional outdoor kitchen. The Morningside, with approximately 2,500 heated square feet, is a three bedroom, three full with one half bath, one and one half story home on a slab with a detached in-law suite. This plan also has a courtyard entry that can be converted into an optional outdoor living area featuring an optional outdoor fireplace. Both plans have a two car garage, are full masonry and have ample storage for today’s downsizing active adult.

All Jim Chapman Communities plans follow the design criteria of the Easy Living Home Program. This program is a voluntary certification program that emphasizes “easy access, easy passage and easy use”.
