Birmingham, United Kingdom, September 18, 2008 --(PR.com)-- Bell Micro LPGA Classic - LPGA

Angela Stanford has won the Bell Micro LPGA Classic on 11-under 277. Stanford used the following Ping golf clubs: Ping G10 driver with Rapture V2 3-wood and 7-woods. Stanford was also playing an assortment of Ping irons including: Ping G2HL (4-iron), G10 (5-iron) and Ping i5 (6-9-irons). Angela Stanford was also playing Ping Tour wedges (48, 52, 56 and 60-degrees) and finished with a Ping B60 putter.

Champions Tour - Greater Hickory Classic

R.W. Eaks has won the Greater Hickory Classic (Champions Tour) closing with a 1-under 71 in windy conditions for a four-stroke victory over Tom Jenkins and Tom Kite. Eaks earned himself $255,000 for his second victory of 2008 at Rock Barn Golf and Spar Club, N.C. Eaks played an Adams Insight BTY driver and woods combination (3- and 5-wood). In addition to his winning driver and woods setup, Eaks also played Ping i5 irons (4-9), pitching and utility wedges with Ping i3 O-Size sand and lob wedges in play. The Greater Hickory Classic champion for 2008 finished with a Fisher Talon Tour putter.

Albertsons Boise Open - Nationwide Tour

The Albertsons Boise Open was won by Chris Tidland at Hillcrest Country Club, Boise, Idaho after closing on 20-under par 264. A final round 64 on Sunday sealed Tidland's victory to win $725,000 with a four shot victory. Chris Tidland was playing the following Ping golf clubs throughout the Albertsons Boise Open: Ping Rapture V2 driver, Burner 3-wood and an Adams Idea Pro Golf Boxer hybrid (18-deg). Returning to Ping golf clubs, Tidland also played Ping i5 irons (4-9) with Tour W wedges (47, 52, 56 and 60-degrees). Finally, the winner selected to finish with a Ping B60 putter.

Mercedes-Benz Championship - European Tour

The annual Mercedes-Benz Championship is part of the European Tour and this year represented the perfect opportunity for four of the European Ryder Cup team to prepare for this month's battle in Kentucky, U.S. Robert Karlsson gave himself and The European Team the perfect result ahead of The Ryder Cup with his first victory at the championship in two years. The championship was staged at the Gut Lärchenhof golf club in Germany, Karlsson held his nerves on the final day to finish overall on 13-under par 275 to claim the €200,000 first prize. Karlsson used the following set of golf clubs in Germany: Titleist 905R driver and 909F3 3- and 5-wood combination in addition to Titleist ZM irons (4-PW) with Vokey Design (49-deg) and Vokey Spin Milled wedges (56-and-60-degrees). To finish, Karlsson selected to play a Scotty Cameron Newport putter.
