Telecom IQ Hosts 2nd Annual Mobile Network Optimisation Summit 2008 for Mobile Network Stakeholders

Telecom IQ, a division of IQPC is to present the forum in Dubai from November 9th to 12th at the Dubai World Trade Center.

Dubai, United Arab Emirates, September 19, 2008 --(PR.com)-- Telecom industry in the region is at a cross road in its products and service offerings as new realities disrupt the status quo. Intense competition in today's market place, due to the ever increasing economic activity, is escalating the consumers' expectations of communication services. Industry analysts predict that future success in the mobile telecom industry will be based upon the industry’s ability to react quickly and effectively to external forces.

Market situation has pressurized telecom operators to heavily leverage on every existing advantage to gain market share and this is possible only by implementing enhanced and effective network optimisation practices. Whilst timely innovative products and services can often provide an edge to advance, the key to long term success is to produce a constant stream of innovations by optimising existing network facilities and ensuring gains are consistent and repeatable.

Mithun Sundarraj, a Conference Director at IQPC says, "What will separate the winners from the losers will be the ability to react and to embrace change. In order to face up to competitive challenges from new and existing market players, network operators must strengthen their awareness of new customer expectations, focus on innovative optimisation techniques and look at long-term strategic network planning processes."

The previous Mobile Network Optimization Summit saw industry experts representing more than 16 different countries discussing the most pressing issues in the technologically focused event. Times have changed so have the opportunities and challenges; this year the conference will put on a special emphasis on business areas which will lead to further growth and profitability. The four day programme sponsored by Tektronix is bringing together strategy-makers from the leading European, Australian, Middle East and Asian telecom companies to discuss the latest trends and developments in mobile network optimisation.
