Amdel Associates Inc. to Purchase Altium Group
New York, NY, May 12, 2006 --(PR.com)-- Amdel Associates Inc., an Investment Banking and Venture Capital firm with offices in New York City and New Jersey has entered into a letter of intent to purchase 100% of the stock of Altium Group, LLC. for an undisclosed amount.

Altium Group is a Field Marketing Office (FMO) for some of the largest insurance carriers in the United States.

According to Amdel's CEO William Coluccio, "The FMO business model is one of the most efficient, effective and profitable forms of distribution for life insurance, annuity and long term care products today."

Unlike the traditional in-house insurance agent sales force  of many large insurance companies, FMO's are independent entities with a network of  thousands of agents and registered brokers, that contract with major financial institutions and insurance companies to sell and distribute their products. In return for access to this network , the financial institution pays an override to the FMO on all premium produced by its agents and brokers.

According to Mr. Coluccio, "Altium Group recruits, trains and supports its agent  network at its own expense; but does it better and with a significantly lower cost structure than any large insurance carrier could ever achieve."

He continues, "We are currently at the beginning of an intergenerational transfer of wealth in the United States of 25 trillion dollars. As a result, the demand for financial and wealth preservation products will continue to grow at a record pace; never before seen in the history of this country.  With its vast sales and distribution network, FMO's like Altium Group are expected to capture the majority of all the life insurance, annuity and long term care  premium generated  from the sales of such products.
