The Gallery at 764 West Hosts Miranda Laine – Digital Photography Art Show “Solo Exhibition”

The Gallery at 764 West Hosts “Solo Exhibition” a solo art photography exhibition for Miranda Laine, opening on October 17 and running through November 18. Artist reception is on October 17 from 5 to 9 PM.

New Braunfels, TX, September 24, 2008 --(PR.com)-- Miranda Laine’s “Solo Exhibition” includes the fine art chair series, travel shots focusing on capturing the human spirit, and light infused landscapes. Miranda Laine was born in New Braunfels, Texas and graduated from Texas State University in 2007 with a BFA in Digital and Photographic Imaging. While working for the Herald New Braunfels Zeitung, Miranda captured a statewide first place award in photojournalism. As well as being a finalist in numerous juried photo exhibitions, Miranda Laine is also a widely sought out photographer for weddings, portraits and other events. Her love for travel, quest for new experience and unity are strong motivators in the body of work that makes up “Solo Exhibition".

The Gallery at 764 West showcases original artwork in a wide assortment of media and styles including photography, oils, acrylics, watercolor, sculpture, pottery, digital arts, and mixed media. In the spring of 2009 mark m. nelson’s watercolors, mixed media and sculpture will be on exhibit. Mark is widely recognized for his drawings of musicians during live performances at Gruene Hall in New Braunfes, Texas. During the fall of 2009, Rita Kirkman will exhibit her award winning pastels and other work. A wide variety of artwork in all media and styles by artists Scott Jarish and Jean Longone are on rotating exhibit at The Gallery the rest of the year.
