Transite Hires Les Hamashima as Chief Marketing Officer
Company drives to be industry leader in the supply chain transportation and shipping logistics market. With the price of gas increasing at almost 40% from a year ago, the cost of shipping and freight has grown to become most companies’ third-largest expense item.
Transite Technology, a leading provider of supply chain transportation and logistics management software and services, has hired Les Hamashima as their chief marketing officer. In his new role, Hamashima will be responsible for leading and executing marketing strategy and sales performance for the transportation logistics technology company.

Before joining Transite, Hamashima was head of global PR at Tekelec and previously directed corporate communications at Motricity. Prior to Motricity, he was director of corporate affairs at SAS. Hamashima holds an Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with concentrated studies in journalism from the University of North Carolina.
