EntropySoft Portfolio Now Includes HP TRIM Software Bidirectional Connector

Paris, France, September 26, 2008 --(PR.com)-- EntropySoft, specialist of the ECI (Enterprise Content Integration) market and unstructured data integration, announces the addition of an HP TRIM Software bidirectional connector to its portfolio. By making available yet another connector, EntropySoft is once more working towards simple, normalised access to all content repositories.

The HP TRIM Software connector is designed to expose 100% of the underlying features of market-leading solutions. It is the first connector specifically designed to fulfil specific Records Management requirements and represents another step towards increased content interoperability.

Says Raphael Jean, EntropySoft CTO, “We are proud to add this market leader connector to our portfolio. This innovation opens new doors for large organizations in terms of records automation. Our solutions portfolio will help HP customers achieve their unified or federated strategies.”

Urs Raas, Product Marketing Manager for TRIM Software at HP, explains, “Our customers want to integrate content from their line-of-business applications with the best practice records management features of HP TRIM, our unified records management system. The EntropySoft connectors provide an additional, simple way of achieving this.”

This connector is part of EntropySoft’s connectors’ portfolio, which consists of more than 25 bidirectional connectors, the biggest offering of connectors on the market. The plug-and-play connectors are designed for major applications such as Alfresco, EMC Documentum, FileNET P8, Open Text LiveLink, IBM DB2 Content Manager On Demand, Interwoven TeamSite and Microsoft SharePoint.

EntropySoft builds its integration strategy on this portfolio of bidirectional connectors. The connectors simplify and normalize access to all content repositories for software or service companies and implement the main features of all connected applications.

EntropySoft leverages its unique portfolio in two exclusive products: Content ETL and Content Federation.

- Content ETL extracts, transforms and loads content from various content repositories. This solution is used for Records Management projects, to connect and organize transfers of records from all content centric applications into the ERMS solution. Content ETL is used for records automation based on metadata policies.

- EntropySoft Content Federation consolidates all content repositories and delivers a federated access to folders and documents scattered in different repositories. Content Federation is a set of server components that accelerates the content integration by offering to business applications a normalized access to all available content silos and a content federation capacity.

EntropySoft’s technology can be implemented in third-party software at each level of data integration. Products are designed for software editors to include in their own applications, empowering their solutions with a strong market differentiator.
