Pirata Media Designs Pro Bono Website for Rhode Island Organ Donor Awareness Coalition

Pirata Media, LLC, a Bristol, RI advertising, design & marketing firm, has launched the new pro bono web site for client Rhode Island Organ Donor Awareness Coalition.

Bristol, RI, September 26, 2008 --(PR.com)-- The new Web site, located at http://www.riodac.org/, helps to better provide users with information about the organization’s goals, as well as convey the importance of becoming an organ donor.

“It was a pleasure working with Pirata Media, especially Steve and Cherie,” said Steve Bruno, RIODAC President and kidney transplant recipient. “They made the upgrade very easy to achieve, especially for people like us who know nothing about web design. Their generosity and talent has brought our organization a much needed new image.”

RIODAC heard about Pirata’s services from its latest radio advertising campaign. After speaking with RIODAC, Pirata agreed to complete the project at no cost.

“We believe in serving the community anyway we can,” said Steve Fischer, President of Pirata Media. “The organization is a great cause and we felt we could help strengthen it by volunteering our time and services.”

Pirata Media takes on one pro bono project every year to show its commitment to building a better community. For clients interested in becoming Pirata’s 2009 volunteer project, visit their site at http://www.piratamedia.com.
