Elizabeth Bublitz, Author of Pawfriendly Landscapes, at Mile High Church's Pet Fair on September 20, 2008 for Book Signing

Denver, CO, September 26, 2008 --(PR.com)-- Elizabeth Bublitz, author and owner of Pawfriendly Landscapes, attended a book signing at Mile High Church's Pet Fair and Blessing on Saturday, September 20, 2008 from 9am - 3pm at Alameda Avenue and Garrison Street in Lakewood, Colorado. Her company, Pawfriendly Landscapes, creates pet friendly yards and was a vendor at the event. The Pet Fair was free to the public.

Mile High Church offered a pet blessing in conjunction with the event. Many pets attended, including llamas, ponies, horses and birds. If a pet could not attend the blessing, a scarf was given to the owner for the ailing pet. Tracy Boehning, of Pawfriendly Landscapes, says, "My husky, Bytor, couldn't make it because he was sick. I took home a scarf for him."

A pet parade was also featured. Pets attended the fair with their owners on the warm September day. Among various pet friendly companies who were vendors, there were also various rescue groups with pets for adoption. Lunch was offered which included a vegetarian burger and chips.

Bublitz explains, "I was interested in the fair when I heard about it during a book signing at Barnes & Noble in Golden in July. I thought it sounded like such a great event. The timing was perfect because my assistant's (Tracy Boehning) dog, Bytor, was sick and couldn't attend. He died on Monday, September 22 at his home. Needless to say, she is heart sick over it! Bytor was twelve years old."
