Elizabeth Bublitz, Author of Pawfriendly Landscapes, to be a Vendor at Colorado Pug Rescue on September 28, 2008 at City Park in Denver

Denver, CO, September 26, 2008 --( Elizabeth Bublitz, author and creator of Pawfriendly Landscapes, to be a vendor at Colorado Pug Rescue (CPR) on September 28, 2008 at City Park in Denver. The event is free to the public from 11am - 4pm. It is at the SW corner of the park, next to Thatcher Fountain. Pawfriendly Landscapes has donated a pet first aid kit and a pet friendly landscape design worth $1500.

CPR has helped many pugs with medical needs in the past year. Silent auction proceeds always helps with medical expenses for CPR. Pugs sometimes go to Pug Rescue injured and debilitated due to abuse, neglect and human unawareness. CPR never refuses a relinquished pug regardless of his/her physical condition - their condition can range from tumor removal, leg surgery, eye surgery, heartworm treatment or recovery from accident trauma. Foster pugs can be with their foster families for several weeks while they recover from medical issues or while we strive to help them through retraining issues. Foster pugs with chronic health problems or elderly health issues may spend many months, or even years, in the loving homes of foster parents while CPR pays for all necessary medical costs and living requirements.

Bublitz explains how she became involved with pug rescue and decided to be a vendor at their event, "I was approached by Lindsay of CPR Pugs in the Park committee and reviewed the literature and wanted to donate whatever I could to their cause. They care so much for these wonderful creatures, this is the least I can do! I look forward to seeing a sea of pugs on Sunday and hope others can make it! I'm sure there will be lots of wonderful people and items in their silent auction."
