Kilgray's Managing Director Publishes Book on Translation

Budapest, Hungary, October 01, 2008 --(PR.com)-- Kilgray's managing director Balázs Kis published the book entitled 'A fordító számítógépe' (The Translator's Computer) co-authored by Anna Mohácsi-Gorove. Within two days, the book sold out in 500 copies. The book, published by SZAK Publishers is currently only available in Hungarian.

The Translator's Computer is a process-oriented step-by-step guide for translators and translation project managers. It does not only describe the use of translation-specific tools but also suggests best practices for managing language-related data stored on computers and describes whole workflows from project handoff until project delivery.

Before joining Kilgray, Kis was the most popular Hungarian IT author who published more than 10 titles on Microsoft technologies, with a special emphasis on enterprise IT management. He also co-authored the definitive work on natural language processing and machine translation with Dr. Gábor Prószéky. The Translator's Computer relies on the training experience that Kis collected while teaching translation technology at several universities for more than 5 years.

'This is a book that fills the gap.' - said Tibor Környei, the well-known industry veteran who developed Wordfisher.
