Denver, CO, October 02, 2008 --(PR.com
)-- Pawfriendly Landscapes is helping people in this economy to increase the value of their home with a free custom, personalized pet friendly landscape design. According to Ken Sheinkopf of The Orlando Sentinel, "a study a few years ago found that the average added value for homes with trees was 5 percent to 10 percent, but some homes were worth 20 percent more because of trees." With this being said, Pawfriendly Landscapes has decided to help struggling home owners who either want to sell their home or remodel their existing, by offering a free pet friendly landscape design.
Elizabeth Bublitz, owner and author of Pawfriendly Landscapes, says, "I would love to ease everybody's mind about the market and their home by increasing their home value with a beautiful landscape design. Since we cater to dogs, we add another bonus, besides trees, to enhance a yard and prevent owners from redoing it because of their family dog."
Pawfriendly Landscapes is holding a national and international contest for dog owners to submit why they need help with their backyard. Pictures are encouraged but not required. The only requirement is the homeowner must own at least one dog. Bublitz explains, "We recently held one and heard from people in Australia and Europe who need help. We've decided to hold another contest. Since the last one was so popular, we had a tie, we'll see the response to this one. It's a perfect time of year since it's almost the holidays - what a great gift!"
