Actress Chyna Layne Lands Highly Coveted Spot in the 2008 ABC Talent Showcase

Thousands were submitted, 600 auditioned but only an elite group of 13 promising actors selected will have the opportunity to showcase their talent to a host of invited-only network executives and industry professionals including casting directors, managers, talent agents, and producers. About Chyna Layne
Among her directors, Chyna Layne is known as the glam girl who physically morphs for each role she embodies and is surely making her mark as a powerhouse actress. In 2009, Chyna Layne lights up the big screen in the much-anticipated theatrical release, Push, based on the bestselling novel by Sapphire and directed by the critically acclaimed Lee Daniels. Set in the 1980s, Chyna portrays Rhonda, a young immigrant from Kingston, Jamaica enrolled in the pre-GED program at Each One Teach One Alternative school.
