Linford Unveils New-Look Craft Division at Interbuild

Birmingham, United Kingdom, October 10, 2008 --(PR.com)-- Linford Group will launch its new Linford Specialists Works division, one of the UK’s largest and most comprehensive traditional crafts services, at Interbuild in October.

Linford Specialist Works (LSW) will be part of the new Restoration and Conservation area at Interbuild, a new feature for this year’s show which is being sponsored by the Society for the Protection of Ancient Buildings (SPAB).

LSW has been created following Linford Group’s acquisitions over the last 18 months of architectural metalwork specialist Dorothea Restorations and traditional plasterers Trumpers. These have been drawn together with Linford Group’s existing craft companies, Linford Masonry and Linford Joinery, to form a comprehensive traditional crafts service.

LSW Director Rob Titterton said: “The Linford name is well-established in restoration and conservation contracting, with its outstanding training and apprenticeship programmes, first-class workshops and facilities across the Midlands, North West, and South West, and a track record of delivering on some of UK’s largest and most influential restoration projects.

“Linford Specialist Works has been created to help underline the fact that our highly-skilled, nationally-renowned craft teams, working in masonry, fine joinery, carving, architectural metalwork and traditional plastering, can also be separately contracted or sub-contracted, whether individually or in combination.

He explained that the aim was to provide a flexible service able to meet the broadest range of traditional craft requirements of main contractors, interior designers, architects, estate managers and private clients, for projects of all sizes.

And he added: “By helping clients to source multiple craft services from a single organisation, with a single point of contact or project manager and a single contract, we can deliver outstanding craft quality alongside significant savings in client time and money.”

Linford Specialist Works can be found in Hall 4, Stand C117 at Interbuild, NEC Birmingham, from October 26th to 30th.
