Jessica Sherrod Joins MMI Associates, Inc.

(www.mmimarketing.com), a Raleigh-based full-service public relations firm, has announced that Jessica Sherrod has joined the firm as traffic coordinator. In this position, Sherrod will manage multiple projects and accounts, plan workflow and ensure deadlines are met by establishing project files, tracking client changes and approvals, and managing distribution of news to the media.
Sherrod graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a bachelor of arts in political science. After graduation she interned at the Women Presidents’ Organization in New York where she was responsible for marketing the organization to potential members and assisting the events coordinator. Prior to joining MMI, Sherrod served in the AmeriCorps with Communities In Schools of Caldwell County (CIS-CC). At CIS-CC she managed elementary school volunteer programs, coordinated events and led the annual School Tools drive. She was also responsible for her programs’ public relations efforts and the organization’s quarterly newsletter. Sherrod resides in Raleigh.
