Wex Rex Presents Rolling Stones Memorabilia in Oct 26 PRWAuctions.com Pop Culture Auction


Highlights include a complete set of autographs of the early Rolling Stones including Brian Jones, along with records, posters, photographs, laser discs, books, a golden ticket and a one pound note signed by Mick & Keith in the 1960s.

Oceanside, NY, October 17, 2008 --(PR.com)-- Approx 700 lots of Rock N Roll and Hollywood Memorabilia will be sold at auction. Highlights include a complete set of autographs of the early Rolling Stones including Brian Jones, along with records, posters, photographs, laser discs, books, a golden ticket and a one pound note signed by Mick & Keith in the 1960s.

Rolling Stones 1983 Advance Release Theater Cardboard Standee for "Let's Spend The Night Together," "A Hal Ashby Film," "Coming February 11th," (20) Interlocking Sections, stands 6 feet tall, color pictures of the Stones on stage, very good condition, some bends, creases and scuffs

Rolling Stones Concert Poster, Saville Theater, Dec. 14, Lyceum Theater, Dec. 21, 1969, Byrd Art, 14" x 21.5," Tea Lautrec Prinitng, San Francisco, Stone Productions, near mint

One Pound note signed by Mick Jagger and Keith Richards, received in person in early 1960s at a concert in UK, "Mick Jagger Loves You" in hurried scribble, "Love Keith Richards," Guaranteed authentic signatures by Gary Sohmers.

The auction will feature posters, memorabilia and clothing from many other rock n rollers of the 1950s-1970s including the Jimi Hendrix, The Cream & Eric Clapton, Grateful Dead, Pink Floyd, Alice Cooper, and many others.

From the world of Hollywood there will be the Three Stooges Original Costumes, Movie Props from “Back to the Future,” “Die Hard,” and a “Ghost Busters” Ecto 1 License Plate. Celebrity Personal items including Joan Crawford Jewelry, Jean Harlow Smoking Set, Costumes from the Movie Zulu. A fantastic Archive of Hollywood Photos to be sold in lots.

This sale will also feature material from the collection of Disney Imagineer Ralph Kent, including many lots of Original Disney Artwork with drawings, stat sheets, productions cels and more. There will also be a large offering of Disney memorabilia including collectible figurines, dolls, games, magazines, books and other general material.
