ThumbPeople Children’s Books Gain Momentum at Literary Festival

Burnsville, MN, October 27, 2008 --(PR.com)-- ThumbPeople books and music featuring the children’s self-worth building character, “Thumbuddy” created a buzz at this month’s Twin Cities Book Festival sponsored by Rain Taxi. The day-long autumn gala gathers the diverse Twin Cities book community to celebrate literary culture.

A widely eclectic group of book and reading enthusiasts showed special interest in the children’s thumbprint character, “Thumbuddy” who is quickly gaining popularity. ThumbPeople festival representative, Coreene Lubeley, explained the Thumbuddy concept that just as your thumb leaves your unique thumbprint everywhere you go, your life also leaves your unique imprint in the world.

Adults expressed a nostalgic charm about Thumbuddy and responded to the “new, fresh look and positive affirming message for kids.” Teachers were particularly interested. As one Minneapolis preschool teacher stated, “My mind is swimming with possibilities for Thumbuddy thumb print projects and activities to reinforce the Thumbuddy message that every child is a miracle!”
