SkellefteĆ„, Sweden, October 25, 2008 --(PR.com)-- Natural User Interface(NUI), a world leader in interactive multi-touch solutions assists in demonstrating newly revealed billion dollar real estate projects.

King Abdullah of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, opened the international architectural exhibition "Towards the First World" in the capital Jeddah, on Saturday the 11th of October.

The exhibition, organized by the Makkah Governorate, is being held on Jeddah's northern Corniche for a period of three months and will showcase all the mega development projects worth more than SR10 billion, highlighting the development projects launched during this era.

His Highness King Abdullah was present at the exhibition to select and approve a limited number of projects. These projects will be executed in the near future to enrich the landscape of KSA and convert it into a stunning state of the art real estate dream.

NUI in partnership with France based byVOLTA, delivered a customized multi-touch software solution with three Horizons for the exhibition.

The Horizon is NUI's latest commercially available interactive multi- touch table. They were used by several real estate giants from the Middle East to present their projects.

Amongst the projects demonstrated on the Horizon, was Kingdom City and Kingdom Tower, two projects of Saudi Arabia's Kingdom Holding, a real estate company owned by Saudi Prince Al-Waleed bin Talal.

Kingdom Tower aims to be the world's tallest building, with an estimated cost of about $40 billion and a height of at least 1 km.

Kingdom City is located 20 kilometers from the old city of Jeddah near King Abdulaziz International Airport and will cover an area of 7 square kilometers and expected to house 80.000 residents and accommodate more than 250.000 visitors. It is the first time the design for both projects are being revealed to the public.

Sama Dubai, a subsidiary of Dubai Holding, a holding company set up by the government of Dubai, presented a project on the Horizon called Dubai Towers, which will be built in Jeddah.

The other projects demonstrated on the Horizons were, Jeddah Gate and King Abdullah Economic City, from public joint stock company Dubai- based Emaar Properties, one of the world's largest real estate companies.

NUI CEO Harry van der Veen commented: "We are delighted to have collaborated on this project together with our partner byVOLTA. Once again we have shown that NUI's multi-touch technology is a must have for real estate and architecture companies to show the importance of their projects in a very appealing way. As our company has a strong focus on emerging technology and real estate in parallel with the Middle East, this event was a good opportunity to continue demonstrating our strong assets along that line."

byVOLTA Project Manager Anthony Giannini commented: "It was a successful and very interesting project with our partner NUI. The conditions were hard and with our combined efforts we have been able to generate large interest for NUI's emerging technology. It was a good opportunity for architects to imagine how they can show their different projects on the interactive multi-touch tables. For them, we can develop new interactive applications according to their needs. New possibilities of presentation can thus be explored."
