St. Louis, MO, November 01, 2008 --(PR.com)-- The LaRoi Glover Foundation will play host to 350 kids at the November 2nd Rams/Cardinals game at the Edward Jones Dome followed by a meet & greet session with the six time pro bowler.

The children are being invited from the Herbert Hoover Boys & Girls Club and Big Brothers/Big Sisters of Eastern Missouri. LaRoi is a also a big brother and spokesperson for Big Brothers/Big Sisters.

LaRoi is well known for his endeavors off the field. During his career he has enjoyed such honors as the New Orleans Saints "Man of the Year" and "Unsung Hero" awards and Rams 2007 Walter Payton Man of the Year. He says, “I remember growing up, we didn’t come from money or anything like that. Whatever my mother had she was willing to share it not only with family members . . . So I think that’s sort of what started it.”

The LaRoi Glover Foundation, which was created for the purpose of sponsoring free football camps, has since grown into a successful non-profit that provides a variety of resources, including scholarships and school supplies among other things. LaRoi’s experiences at youth football camps during his pre-teen years inspired him to start the foundation.
