Durban, South Africa, November 03, 2008 --(PR.com
)-- Kwazulu Natal based Pelican Systems has recently launched a brand new customer focused website. The website focuses on the supply of tried and trusted ceiling systems, partitioning systems, opening systems and wooden flooring to both the commercial and residential building industry in Southern Africa. The site has been developed in direct response to what their customers are looking for.
Pelican Systems General Manager, Denise Gould, says “Pelican Systems places a lot of emphasis on its customer care. We are always communicating with our customers and we take their views very seriously. Over the last year we have conducted a series of informal research programmes and the results have influenced the new website design and content.”
The website is well designed and layed out in terms of its product offerings. It really is much easier to find the solutions you are looking for and the pages include great quality photographs of its diverse products with full detail brochures of installation information, technical specifications and price lists. Most products also refer you to related project galleries and related news stories in order to access more information. This is a welcomed improvement for all the industry players including architects, building developers, designers, specifiers & contractors.
“Times have changed dramatically, our customers now want the ease of being able to research and choose products online and also find out who we are and how we operate”, says Denise Gould. “The company is fast growing due to its awareness of the building industry trends, understanding solutions our customers are looking for and offering the latest quality products. We are also an ISO 9001:2000 accredited company.”
The company has grown significantly over the past few years following the buy-in in 2005 by shareholder Lafarge Gypsum. It has consequently undergone a huge restructuring process to become pure distributors of products to the building interiors trade in KwaZulu Natal. KZN has been strategically covered with branches operating from Durban, Pietermaritzburg, Zululand and Northern KZN.
Denise added, “This is a competitive industry. Customers rightly expect not only quality products at the right price, but also reliable service to go with it. At Pelican, we know not only that our products are the very best available, but we listen to our customers too. We will continue to adapt our product solutions to meet their needs now and in the future.”
