Gallery KH in Chicago Presents First Annual Small Works Show

Chicago Gallery Offers Smaller Works for Experienced and First Time Art Buyers.

Chicago, IL, November 10, 2008 --(PR.com)-- For the first time, Gallery KH will host an exhibit of works in miniature with the First Annual Small Works Show. This unique exhibition coincides with the Henry Coe: Plein Air Paintings, which will be featured alongside in the main gallery. Both exhibitions run from November 21 to January 2, 2009 with an opening cocktail reception scheduled on Friday, November 21, 5-8PM.

Just in time for the holiday season, all of the works in this show will be priced under $3000 with many pieces available for under $1000. “The idea is to create a gift giving opportunity,” says Gallery Director, Kristen Hagan. She continues, “but this kind of show also opens the door for new buyers who are just getting started with an art collection of their own.”

The show will feature close to two dozen pieces of work by numerous artists including Seiko Tachibana, an Oakland, CA based printmaker, Jerry Ricketson, a Tulsa area landscape painter, Michael Fitts, a Virginia graphic designer who paints still life on recycled metals, and Carolyn Cole, a Portland, OR artist working in collage and color fields.
