Apparel Company Involved in Charitable Giving Appears in First Fashion Show

Los Angeles, CA, November 07, 2008 --(PR.com)-- Mark de Apparel, a small company that provides high-quality graphic shirts while also encouraging charitable giving, appeared in a fashion show held during a promotional event called ‘Mixer’ in Costa Mesa, CA on November 1, 2008. The event, hosted by Miss California hopeful ‘Phoenix,’ included a live concert featuring Lifeline, Sinizen, Apoetnomadali, and dj Boogi among other performers.

“This was an excellent opportunity to help raise awareness about the company and the causes we support,” said Mark de Grasse, owner of Mark de Apparel. “The fashion show went off without a hitch and the models did an excellent job on the runway.”

The models wearing Mark de Apparel clothing included Tiffany de Grasse, Kelly Ferguson, Kasia Gregorgcyk, Mindy Olson, Tim Neff, and Adam Cuculich among others. The high-energy event allowed Mark de Apparel to showcase the original designs and bold colors that make the t-shirts, tank-tops, and polos unique.

Depending on the clothing series, a percentage of each shirt sale will be donated to organizations like the UCI Medical Center, Mary’s Shelter, or the American Institute of Philanthropy. Mark de Apparel is also partnering with a talented group of like-minded clothing designers, including Gus Leano of finland lifeguard & beach co., Karen Harrison of KoZi Clothing, and Marcus Martinez of MBody Strength. Each designer brings a valuable contribution to the offering and culture of Mark de Apparel.

“We hope that we can encourage other companies to contribute to worthy causes by showing how simple it can be, even for new start-ups,” said Mark de Grasse.
