The Website Partnership Earns Silver International Davey Award for Cogi Farm

Washington, DC, November 16, 2008 --(PR.com)-- The winners of The 2008 Davey Awards have been announced by the International Academy of the Visual Arts, and “Cogi Farm Equestrian Community,” created by The Website Partnership, has been selected as a Silver Winner for web design and development. With over 4,000 entries from across the US and around the world, the Davey Awards honors the finest creative work from the best small firms, agencies and companies worldwide.

“Cogi Farm Equestrian Community” is a showcase website promoting equestrian training, recreational activities, and lifestyle options for visitors to this uniquely thrilling and beautiful facility located north of New York City.

Entries are judged to evaluate distinction in creative work. In determining Gold and Silver winners, entries are judged on their merits based on a standard of excellence as determined by the IAVA, considering the category entered. Entries are scored on a ten point scale by the judges. Generally, Gold Winners receive a score of 9.0 or above and Silver Winners receive a score of 7.0 to 8.9.

The Davey Awards is judged and overseen by the International Academy of the Visual Arts (IAVA), a 200+ member organization of leading professionals from various disciplines of the visual arts dedicated to embracing progress and the evolving nature of traditional and interactive media. Current IAVA membership represents a "Who's Who" of acclaimed media, advertising, and marketing firms including: Sotheby’s Institute of Art, Yahoo!, Estee Lauder, Wired, Insight Interactive, The Webby Awards, Bath & Body Works, Brandweek, Polo Ralph Lauren, ADWEEK, Alloy, Coach, iNDELIBLE, MTV, Victoria’s Secret, HBO, The Ellen Degeneres Show, Myspace.com, and many others.
