Billy Platt to Meet the New Corona Challenge Cup Bowling Champion on TV4U at the Silver Nugget Casino in Las Vegas December 14

Billy Platt, the 17 year old bowling phenom who bested four top international bowlers in the initial Corona Challenge Cup event at the Silver Nugget Bowling Center in Las Vegas, gets to challenge the winner of the second event, to be held on TV4U on Sunday, December 14.

Henderson, NV, November 18, 2008 --(PR.com)-- On December 14, the second Corona Challenge Cup will take place at the Silver Nugget Bowling Center, located at the top of the Las Vegas Strip. Bowlers from around the USA and even some international entries, are currently attempting to qualify for the tournament, with the winner getting a chance to have a 'showdown' right there after the tournament with Billy Platt.

Platt is the 17 year old wunderkind who shocked the bowling world in September by emerging as the first Challenge Cup Champion in a field that included a ten time Team USA member, a top international bowler from Panama, a top senior bowler and a top LPBT bowler. The show can be seen on the Sports Channel of the TV4U.Com 42 channel free internet TV network as well as KSHOTV.Com,a Las Vegas marketed IPTV channel. It will also be on local Las Vegas TV.

"That was one thrilling match," enthused PBA Bowler and Silver Nugget Casino Bowling Director Eric Heflin. "I've never seen a better final with better competition than the Corona Challenge Cup final on September 30."

Heflin had a front row seat at the event, doing the color commentary for TV4U in an event produced by the TVS Television Network, the fourth oldest commercial TV network in the USA.

The December 14th event at the Silver Nugget will begin at 2pm and is open to the public, with $2 Corona Beer prices through the Corona sponsorship of the event. Other sponsors include Turbo Bowling Accessories, Submit U Energy Drinks, and Seamco Sports.

In addition, the first 100 fans at the event receive a free sports blooper DVD from TV4U.

"Everyone had a lot of fun at the last event and I won't be surprised if we double our attendance on December 14th, continued Heflin. "This is really top quality bowling and the excitement of having TV coverage brings out the best in the bowlers, the fans, and the Silver Nugget Casino itself."

In an unusual twist, the winner of the Challenge Cup on December 14th will immediately face off in a showdown with the young Billy Platt. The winner remains 'King of the Hill' of the Corona Bowling Challenge Cup, ready to take on any and all comers from around the USA and the world who wish to trek to the Silver Nugget Casino in Las Vegas to try to qualify for the next monthly installment of the Corona Challenge Cup.
