Amber Alert issued in Missouri for "Unknown Teenage Girl"

Springfield, IL, June 02, 2006 --(PR.com)-- Police in Linn, Mo., have issued an Amber Alert for a teenage girl who reportedly was pulled into a van by an unknown man.

The girl’s identity is unknown, but she appeared to be about 13 years old and was 5 feet 1 and 85 pounds. She is white. She had brown, shoulder-length hair and wore a beige shirt with a brown skirt.

Police are looking for a white man with gray hair. He is about 5 feet 9 and 160 pounds, and was seen wearing a black KISS T-shirt and blue jeans.

The van is dark blue or black. It appeared to be a full-size van made sometime between 1975 and 1980.

Linn is about 20 miles east of Jefferson City.
