Richard Bazely Agrees to Animate British Animation Film Bob and The Lost Idols

Acclaimed for his work on Barnyard and Iron Man, Richard Bazely is appointed as Animation Director for Bob and the Lost Idols - a British Animated Feature Film.

London, United Kingdom, November 19, 2008 --(PR.com)-- Richard Bazley, lead animator on films including The Iron Giant (Warner Bros) and Hercules (Disney) and animation director for Paramount Pictures 2006 Barnyward animation, has agreed to act as Head of Animation and Internal Director for the British film Bob and the Lost Idols.

Bazley’s extensive and varied experience in the animated film industry will complement the design and animation skills of UK based CGI animation company Creation Studio which is producing Bob and the Lost Idols. The film is set to be an Indiana Jones style adventure featuring a young monkey searching for mythical Golden Idols. Bazley is impressed with the script and keen to work on what promises to be an original fun adventure like no other CGI film produced to date.

For the past decade Bazley has worked as a Supervising Animator/Animation Director at three of the Major Animation Studios, Paramount Pictures, Walt Disney Feature Animation and Warner Bros.

Bob and the Lost Idols, produced by Terry Stone, changing direction from his more familiar horror/martial arts genres (Rise of the Footsoldiers, Doghouse, Bronson) has been written by Daniel Noy (The Englishman and the Mafia) and Antony Nottage (founder of Creation Studio).

The Bob and the Lost Idols team are currently screening celebrity voices for the host of characters within the film including Bob the monkey, Alucard the evil ape, Mags the Magpie and Eugene the Vulture.
