Despite Record Sales Astor & Black Not Moving Forward with Planned Price Increase

Columbus, OH, November 19, 2008 --(PR.com)-- Despite having record sales for the months of September and October, Astor & Black Custom Clothiers is making the conscious decision to not move forward with the company’s original planned price increase. The increase, which would have gone into effect this December, has been put on hold for the time being due to the country’s current economic conditions. “Now more than ever consumers are looking for value and thus our sales have remained strong” says founder and CEO David B. Schottenstein. “We understand that the current economic climate is not ideal for anyone, and in keeping with our ‘Customer First’ motto, we have decided to put all plans of price increases on hold.”
