Seattle, WA, November 20, 2008 --(PR.com
)-- Cameron Karsten Photography celebrates its most recent photography during an Artist’s Reception in the heart of Seattle’s Ballard neighborhood. The event at Shakti Vinyasa Yoga on Saturday, Dec. 13th from 6 – 9PM is part of the Ballard Artwalk, an event held for local artists at participating businesses the second Saturday of every month.
Recently back from exotic adventures to the Far East and Australia, Mr. Karsten reveals the newest array of black and white photography with a selection of 20+ images. Matted and framed, the display depicts the likeness of Mother Nature's architectural genius as compared to humanity’s own creations, the physical body included. From vast sweeping palm-strewn landscapes to the subtle details of an orchid’s sensuality; from the smooth angles of a lover's features to the towering constructs manifested by humans, each image deeply penetrates reality with emotion and creativity.
Guests will be lured into a photographic eye, peering at the world’s various cultures, and only at the Artist’s Reception will there be the opportunity to vicariously travel into a variety of other visual displays. Wandering the hills of Tuscany, riding camel-back over the dunes of Rajasthan, or motoring down into The Creeks of Nigeria—Cameron Karsten Photography brings adventure and art to the casual as well as the serious observer.
