)-- Today Morph Labs introduced PHP support for Morph AppSpace, its on-demand Web application platform service. Available in beta, customers may deploy PHP applications in an enterprise-quality application environment in just a few minutes. With PHP, as well as support for Ruby on Rails, Java and Grails, Morph Labs is poised to have the most extensive Platform as a Service (PaaS) offering in the market today. “The ability to run PHP applications on Morph AppSpace provides developers a better class of hosting solution,” said Guy Naor, CTO of Morph Labs. “Unlike ordinary PHP hosting services, Morph AppSpace offers a highly available, fault-tolerant, and secure application environment. We also have a unique approach to data protection, where we keep data safe by continuously streaming incremental backups to a standby database server.”
Morph AppSpace, which launched its Ruby on Rails, and Java and Grails service plans early this year, is part of Morph Labs’ Platform as a Service suite that provides ISVs with an end-to-end managed service for running reliable, secure, and highly available Web applications.
“At Morph Labs, we are witnessing a growing demand for cloud-based hosting as evidenced by the enthusiastic adoption of Morph AppSpace over the past months,” said Winston Damarillo, Morph Labs’ CEO. “This latest add-on is part of our commitment to simplify business innovation for our customers who are looking to quickly bring to life Web applications.”
In addition to Morph AppSpace, the company offers Morph AppCloud, which gives companies the power to run multiple applications via a private cloud that is scalable, dedicated and customizable. Morph AppCloud will offer PHP support by end of the month.
