BlueStar Names Chris Sheppard as Datalogic Business Development Manager

Sheppard will focus on further Datalogic growth and expansion within BlueStar.

Florence, KY, December 03, 2008 --( BlueStar, the leading innovator in solutions-based distribution for Auto ID, Point-of-Sale, Mobility, and RFID products, today announces that Chris Sheppard has joined the company as Business Development Manager. As a BDM, Sheppard will manage BlueStar’s channel marketing and business development for Datalogic Scanning and Datalogic Mobile products.

Sheppard joins BlueStar after years of account management experience in the financial services industry. He holds certification in Lead Management, Time and Territory Management, and Competitive Selling.

In addition, Sheppard has a background in account relationships and developing new business. Since joining BlueStar, he has received full training on BlueStar’s FUSION business-development program, and will be instrumental in scaling the Datalogic lines through BlueStar and expanding their presence in North America.
