Roe Family Band Entertains at HarborPlace Retirement Resort

Port St Lucie, FL, December 05, 2008 --(PR.com)-- The Roe Family Band performed live bluegrass at HarborPlace on Monday. The residents and staff of HarborPlace at Port St Lucie, a Retirement Resort and Assisted Living Community, enjoyed listening to the award-winning family bluegrass band from Colorado.

According to www.roefamilyband.com, “The Roe Family Band is a family bluegrass, old-time and acoustic music band. They have been playing as a family band for 5 years now and have played at many festivals and venues across the country. The Band is being led by Brian (19) who plays guitar, mandolin, banjo, fiddle and sings. This is quite a show stopper when he plays all 4 instruments in the same song. His brother, Ethan, plays the mountain dulcimer standing up. He claims to have been too restless to sit down all the time! But whatever his reason, he has a very unique sound. Dad says he is just the truck driver but from listening to them play, you can tell he keeps everyone together and the entertainment flowing! Mom spends most of her time making calls and working on keeping the family running, but on stage she sings very well and plays her bass, which she calls Betsy.”
