HarborPlace Retirement Resort Serenaded by Allapattah Flats K-8 Choir

Port St Lucie, FL, December 05, 2008 --(PR.com)-- The Allapattah Flats K-8 School Chorus caroled live at HarborPlace on Wednesday. The residents and staff of HarborPlace at Port St Lucie, a Retirement Resort and Assisted Living Community, enjoyed being serenaded by more than forty children singing a variety of Christmas songs, from Feliz Navidad to Winter Wonderland.

“The Twelve Days of Christmas was awesome – it was so cute!” exclaimed Beth Kelley, Sales Director at HarborPlace.

Afterward, the children enjoyed pretzels, punch, and candy canes while socializing with the HarborPlace residents, many of whom do not have local grandchildren with whom to share this holiday season.

“They really loved having those kids come in,” Beth continued. “I’m really glad Barbara [HarborPlace Recreation Director] arranged for a lot of children’s groups to come in for the holidays.”
