The Bobs Appear at Appel Farm in Sleigh Bobs Ring. Zany Wizards of Song Skewer Classic Holiday Tunes.

Elmer, NJ, December 05, 2008 --(PR.com)-- On Friday, December 5 at 8:00 PM, The Bobs will bring their special brand of holiday cheer to Appel Farm Arts and Music Center with Sleigh Bobs Ring. Audiences will enjoy a performance that combines outrageous covers of classic holiday songs, like “Do You Hear What I Hear, Man?,” along with witty, tuneful original material. This Grammy Award-winning quartet of singers is renowned for their unique performances that fill the theatre with an orchestra of sound, and has been called by the East Bay Express in Berkeley, “..a killer combination of vocal chops and sly humor.”

About the Bobs
The group was formed in 1981 in San Francisco and quickly began to develop their signature style that encompasses sly humor with musical excellence. A Grammy Award for their arrangement of “Helter Skelter” followed in 1992. They toured the nation, appeared on television and radio and eventually toured Europe and the world, all to great acclaim, and more awards. They have collaborated with many dance troupes, including Momix. Their numerous appearances have included a one-hour special on PBS and a commission from Lincoln Center. The Bobs have recorded 14 albums.
