Jennifer Aniston and Owen Wilson Talk Marley & Me on Pet Life Radio

Arden Moore, host of the popular “Oh Behave!” show on Pet Life Radio, extends a rare “Howl-i-wood” treat to dog lovers by inviting them to tune in to an interview featuring the stars of the upcoming movie, “Marley & Me.”

Ft. Lauderdale, FL, December 10, 2008 --( The movie debuts on Christmas Day and captures the true story of a lovable, rambunctious Labrador retriever named Marley and his anything-but-boring adventures with his owners, John and Jenny Grogan. It is based on the bestselling book, Marley & Me, written by Grogan.

Listen as Jennifer Aniston shares why this movie is a “home run” and why Owen Wilson confirms that this movie offers “universal appeal.” Director David Frankel shares the special challenge in trying to get cooperation from the 19 dogs portraying Marley from his days as a puppy to his senior years.

This special “Oh Behave!” episode offers behind-the-scenes insights into making this movie and how the stars embraced the task of being true to the book and capturing the ups and downs of life with Marley.

“I wanted our listeners to feel like they were right there in the room with the stars of the movie and to hear from them directly about their thoughts on making this movie and the many ways dogs bring magic to our lives,” said Moore.

For Moore, this is more than a movie – it is a step back in time. She worked next to Grogan in the Sun-Sentinel newsroom for nine years and knew Marley during his youthful, always-in-trouble years. Years later, Grogan wrote about Marley’s musings in the foreword of Moore’s award-winning book, The Dog Behavior Answer Book. An excerpt from Grogan’s foreword reads: “Had I followed Arden’s wise advice in this book, Marley might have been so good I never would have been tempted to write a book about him.”

Moore’s book, written in an entertaining question-and-answer format, earned top training/behavior awards by the Dog Writers Association of America earlier this year.

“My book contains numerous practical ways to ‘Marley-proof’ unwanted doggy behaviors so that people can better connect with their canine pals,” said Moore. “John Grogan jokingly referred to Marley as the ‘world’s worst dog’ but his love for this lab is evident not only in his book, but in this upcoming movie.”
