VoIP Industry Expert Dr. Baruch Sterman Hinges NextGen Voice Services on Peering

Dr. Sterman, CEO of Kayote Networks, joins telecom industry experts on Next Generation Voice panel at the 2006 Canadian Telecom Summit, June 12-14 in Toronto.

Toronto, Canada, June 13, 2006 --(PR.com)-- Dr. Baruch Sterman, CEO of Kayote Networks Inc., experts in Voice over IP (VoIP) interconnectivity technology and developers of advanced IP communication services, will deliver an important message on VoIP Peering at the 2006 Canadian Telecom Summit.

“The true potential of VoIP will only be realized when networks peer IP to IP, end to end,” stated Sterman. “Only then will the network effect come to life, encouraging the development and deployment of feature-rich next generation voice services. When more networks peer, we will experience features that make video and chat seem like yesterday’s news.”

Kayote Networks and its partner XConnect are currently deploying the world’s first nation-wide VoIP Peering project for the JCC in the Netherlands. The JCC, a joint initiative comprised of UPC Netherlands, Casema, MultiKabel, Essent and CaiW, whose customer base totals more than seven million subscribers with more than 450,000 telephony subscribers, chose Kayote Networks and XConnect to deliver advanced VoIP Peering solutions.

The 2006 Canadian Telecom Summit will take place on June 12-14 at the Toronto Congress Center. Dr. Baruch Sterman will participate in a panel of industry experts discussing Next Generation Voice on June 12 at 2pm.
