SLCN.TV and Pop Art Lab Join Forces to Present Greg Hawkes of The Cars in Second Life Live Performance

Melbourne, Australia, December 14, 2008 --(PR.com)-- The brain child of Second Life avatar, Claus Uriza, large name talents are booking to do live events with the first being Greg Hawkes, the 80s music rave icon from The Cars on Friday, December 12, 2008, at 12 pm PST. Uriza stated that Hawkes will be in-world for an interview at noon followed by a live performance from their brand new 3D TV studio streaming live from one of the East Coasts most respected recording studio Perry Geyers Cybersound Studio in Boston. In cooperation with SLCN.TV creation of the highest quality 3D music TV show seen so far in virtual worlds will be a rivoting event. Uriza mentions that plans are in the making to bring even more real life musicians and live music events to Second Life, once again bridging the gap between the two worlds, real and virtual.

Offering a seamless way to entertain and be entertained will be two-fold: One to provide residents of Second Life and the globe for that matter, easy and ready access to live events and second, to give us a glimpse of Web 3.0 where the promise of 3D web pages, browsing, and interaction will come to pass.
