Melbourne, Australia, December 14, 2008 --(PR.com
)-- The brain child of Second Life avatar, Claus Uriza, large name talents are booking to do live events with the first being Greg Hawkes, the 80s music rave icon from The Cars on Friday, December 12, 2008, at 12 pm PST. Uriza stated that Hawkes will be in-world for an interview at noon followed by a live performance from their brand new 3D TV studio streaming live from one of the East Coasts most respected recording studio Perry Geyers Cybersound Studio in Boston. In cooperation with SLCN.TV creation of the highest quality 3D music TV show seen so far in virtual worlds will be a rivoting event. Uriza mentions that plans are in the making to bring even more real life musicians and live music events to Second Life, once again bridging the gap between the two worlds, real and virtual.
Offering a seamless way to entertain and be entertained will be two-fold: One to provide residents of Second Life and the globe for that matter, easy and ready access to live events and second, to give us a glimpse of Web 3.0 where the promise of 3D web pages, browsing, and interaction will come to pass. Pop Art Labs are a testing platform for just that and help to foster the development of this cutting edge concept and test and further expand and enhance the technology.
Pop Art Lab at Moon Park 101.63.25 (http://slurl.com/secondlife/Moon%20Park/101/63/25/) in Second Life is currently streaming media into Second Life with a tremendous warm welcome from the Second Life community, offering a Second Life version of iTunes. New release music is previewed with new additions updated at least weekly, if not daily.
SLCN.TV is proud to partner with Pop Art Labs to bring viewers coverage of a monthly television show. Uriza encourages real life musicians to contact The Lab for booking and show information. "We will help you with all the technical stuff on our well-respected platform. We will make an interview which will be video recorded as well as host your premiere concert in Second Life," states Uriza.
