Colours Wheelchairs Receives Prestigious 'Freedom of Mobility' Award

Wheels For Humanity, a non-profit organization which assists disabled people around the world, awards Colours Wheelchair the "Freedom of Mobility Award."

Corona, CA, June 15, 2006 --( Wheels For Humanity ( hosted its 5th Annual Spirit of Movement Awards on 10 June 2006. The non-profit organization awarded Colours Wheelchair ( "the Freedom of Mobility Award." David Richard, founder of Wheels for Humanity said, "Colours Wheelchair, an innovative company producing state of the art custom wheelchairs, has donated hundreds of wheelchairs to assist people world-wide."

David Richard started Wheels for Humanity in 1996. Since then, he and his team have provided restored wheelchairs to over 31,000 people in more than 61 countries. Colours Wheelchairs supports Wheels For Humanity's efforts by providing wheelchairs, know-how, spare parts and many hours of volunteer time fitting and servicing wheelchairs.
