ThumbPeople to Select Preschool Program to Field Test Thumbuddy Curriculum

Burnsville, MN, December 24, 2008 --(PR.com)-- ThumbPeople, Inc. is currently reviewing prospective preschool environments interested in field testing its Thumbuddy preschool curriculum program.

ThumbPeople, Inc. has partnered with a preschool curriculum developer to package Thumbuddy curriculum for children at daycare centers, preschools, before and after school childcare programs, home school groups, libraries, bookstores and even coffee shops across the country. Thumbuddy curriculum is structured to take place one hour a week for seven weeks.

Thumbuddy curriculum will expose preschoolers to Thumbuddy, the popular thumbprint character recognized for building self worth in children through children’s literature and nurturing music for children.

A Thumbuddy curriculum hour consists of story time featuring one of the seven books in the Thumbuddy children’s books series, Thumbuddy music with choreographed motions, a self worth building lesson, craft activity based on the Thumbuddy concept that just as your thumb leaves your unique thumbprint everywhere you go, your life also leaves your unique imprint in the world, puppet shows and take home bags with activity pages.

Minimal prep time for the facilitator has been a primary goal behind the design of Thumbuddy preschool curriculum. Curriculum pages include supply lists, detailed craft and activity instructions and scripted dialog.

Several diverse preschool environments will be selected to field test Thumbuddy curriculum evaluating the time frame needed for each activity and success level determined by the enjoyment of the preschoolers, ease in facilitation and reinforcement of self worth building concepts.

The preschool programs selected to field test the Thumbuddy curriculum will receive complementary curriculum lessons with evaluation forms.
