Arcle Technologies Offering iPhone Software Giveaways for the New Year

Jakarta, Indonesia, December 30, 2008 --(PR.com)-- The Mac Business Unit of Arcle Technologies which offers a number of productivity-oriented iPhone and iPod touch applications will be offering all of its applications for free download. In the day of January 1st, 2009 all of the applications prices in the iTunes app store will be set to zero thus allowing customers to download those applications for free in that day. On subsequent days the applications will return to their regular prices. The time zone effective for the promotion period is GMT+8 which covers Hong Kong, Singapore, and central Indonesia.

The applications included in the promotion period are:

Fund Watch – a data formatter application that loads daily unit trust prices from Fundsupermart Hong Kong, Singapore, and Malaysia, and transforms it into a line graph.
Instant Motivator – a photography application for on-the-fly creation of motivational pictures from the iPhone’s built-in camera or photo library.
Speech Timer – a combination of stopwatch and time signal software designed specifically for use in Toastmasters meeting sessions.

Apart from the new year festivities, this promotion period is to lessen the gap of the lack of shareware model in the iTunes App Store. The shareware software distribution model normally allows the customer to try software risk-free for a certain period of time and afterwards they may choose to buy the application to continue usage.
