Los Angeles, CA, January 05, 2009 --(PR.com)-- It’s a classic Pac-10/Big-10 match up as USC and Penn State get ready to compete against each other in the Rose Bowl on January 1st. USC Football Coach, Pete Carroll chats with YoungHollywood.com about how he’s preparing his team for the big game, and shares his thoughts about Penn State.

When YoungHollywood.com correspondent, Michelle Marie asks Coach Carroll how he was preparing the team for the Rose Bowl, he replied, “Right now we’re getting fired up and tuned in to the way we practice.”

Michelle Marie asked Coach Carroll if there is anything that worries him when he watches the videos of Penn State. Coach Carroll replied, “Yes, they’re really really good. They’re good in all phases, they can do everything. It’s every challenge that you don’t want.”

USC Quarteback, Mark Sanchez commented on Coach Pete Carroll, as Michelle Marie asked if he thinks Carroll will last as long as Penn State’s Joe Paterno. “He might, he’s a lifer. He’s one of those coaches that will do it forever,” Sanchez replied.

Pete Carroll was asked the same question about himself lasting as long as Joe Paterno, and he chuckled and replied, “I’m just trying to make it to this game right now. I don’t know how Joe Paterno does it, he’s just absolutely everybody’s hero. It’s a great honor to play against him.”
