The winning photo was chosen by site members from a total of thirteen nominated photographs with almost a quarter of the votes.

Masoud won the latest photograph of the month contest with a photo titled “Shy and Curious.” The winning photo depicted two young girls, with one peeking over the shoulder of the other. This was the first Photograph of the Month award received by Masoud Harati. For winning the PhotographyCorner.com January 2009 Photograph of the Month, Masoud was awarded a $100 gift certificate provided by Red River Paper.
