Anastasia Clark Featured Poet. Free Party Bag. Open Mic at The Goddess Store & Studio.

Hollywood, FL, June 20, 2006 --(PR.com)-- Anastasia Clark announces she will be the featured poet at The Goddess Store & Studio on Sunday, July 16, 8:00pm-11:00pm. The event is part of the store’s monthly open mic poetry series. Light refreshments will be served. Patrons will also receive a free poetry party bag- with a pen, bookmark, calendar, and other goodies. The New Age store is located at 2017 Harrison St, Hollywood, FL 33020.

Clark will be reading from a variety of her full-length books published by Sun Rising Poetry Press, including Grieving With Poetry- poems written after the death of her parents, Bloodsongs- poetry about women’s issues, Skeletons and Other Complaints- poetry about life’s challenges, Vagabond Pond- poems about feeling lost, and Electric Petticoats- poetry celebrating the spicier side of life. Clark will also be reading from her POETRY PETALS collection- themed booklets designed for gift and floral baskets. Titles include Friendship Poems, Healing Poems, Humorous Poems, Inspirational Poems, Nostalgic Poems and Romantic Poems. Books will be on sale for the event.

The Goddess Store & Studio was opened by owner Carmen Garson in 2002. Located in the historical arts district, it has become a popular gathering place for both locals and tourists.
