)-- Top level staff to work on growth, expansion and stability
The North American Old Catholic Church, in its continued efforts to reach the un-churched and those marginalized by other church bodies, announced today a dramatic expansion of their national office staff.
“The strategic staff additions we are announcing today demonstrate the churches commitment to effective growth and enhanced ministry in 2009.” said Matt Velic. Velic serves at the Moderator of the Curia - the ecclesiastical equivalent to a corporate chief operating officer. “The posts recently filled demonstrate how our Congregation of Bishops continues to drive the vision and execution of the churches mission, which remains focused on reaching those who need to hear Christ’s message most urgently.”
Positions announced today:
Gregg P. Nall as Director of Public and Corporate Relations- Mr. Nall will craft a standard message and work to raise the profile and public awareness of the church and her ministries;
Nic Benson as Director of Development- Mr. Benson will work closely with the bishops of the church to develop a capitol campaign as well as general financial stability, focusing on the cultivating short and long term financial resources;
Alison Hawkins as National Director of College Outreach- Miss Hawkins is developing a model outreach program to bring the church to college campuses, with the first program to be launched during the spring 2009 semester in the Washington, DC metropolitan area.
