Babya Updates Babya AU Host

QLD, Australia, June 20, 2006 --(PR.com)-- Babya today announced that it has released the first update to Babya AU Host for Intel Macs-a Mac exclusive Audio Unit (AU) host featuring Core Audio for thrilling effect quality.

Version 1.1 includes a Universal Binary-this means that you can run Babya AU Host on a PowerPC Mac or a Intel based Mac.

Babya's A.A. Fussy said. "It's a cinch to use your favorite Audio Unit plugins with Babya AU Host-just play it like a VST instrument. Using Core Audio provides a dramatic experience with zero latency on the new Intel based Macs. "

According to Babya 's Alvin Novick, he tested a Mac Mini Core Solo 1.5GHz using XBench and Babya AU Host and notes that Babya AU Host was stutter-free compared to Apple Logic and 2.5x faster than Garageband 3.

On a 2.4GHz P4 PC, using MAGIX Audio Studio that Babya's A.A. Fussy tested, the Mac mini was up to 7x more resource effcient in processing multiple plugins, while the PC was often crash-prone.
