ShowMeCables.com Updates USB Products, Related Pages

In one of the first stages of a broad Web 2.0 site-update initiative, ShowMeCables has redesigned a major section of its web site to improve ease-of-use, optimization, and aesthetics.

Chesterfield, MO, January 14, 2009 --(PR.com)-- As part of a broader Web 2.0 initiative, ShowMeCables has updated a major products page on its web site, www.showmecables.com. The USB Cables main page, and all sub-pages, have been significantly improved, with actual product pictures, improved descriptions, increased optimization, and overall aesthetic polishes. Customers, for instance, are now greeted with a linked title for each product instead of a confusing part number. Furthermore, individual sub-categories ("sub-pages") also reflect the changes, as do product pages.

The scope of this re-design is, however, not limited to the USB products section of the ShowMeCables site. Some other sections of the site, including VGA monitor cables (http://www.showmecables.com/VGA-Monitor-Cables.html), Cat5e patch panels (http://www.showmecables.com/Cat-5e-Patch-Panels.html), and PAL adapters (http://www.showmecables.com/Pal-Adapters-EUROPEAN.html), have also undergone a similar re-design or are slated to in the near future.

Again, this update--and other like it--is one of the first stages in ShowMeCables's company- and site-wide Web 2.0 initiative, which is designed to make commerce operations at www.showmecables.com more competitive and up-to-date, and also to enhance the customer-side appearance and functionality of the overall web site.
