Atrion Launches Channel Initiative

Debut of Reseller Alliance Program provides managed services and profit opportunities for VAR’s.

Warwick, RI, January 17, 2009 --(PR.com)-- Atrion Networking Corporation, a leading information technology and managed services provider, today announces the launch of its Reseller Alliance (RA) Program. Positioning Atrion as a Channel provider for the first time, the RA Program will enable other technology integrators to provide their clients with the comprehensive support needed to ensure an “always-on,” high ROI network.

The RA Program benefits resellers through enhancing solution offerings, producing reoccurring revenue streams, increasing profit margins and building stronger client relationships. With flexible reseller models, the RA Program aligns to the size and needs of each VAR and can negate increasing expenses of time, staffing, training, space and equipment required to provide managed services. Additionally, the RA Program does not interfere with manufacturer warranties or other service contracts.

Optimizing network uptime, client productivity and consumer accessibility, Atrion’s managed services strengthen technical support through asset, device and application management, network compliance and configuration and software administration. Customizable coverage levels provide proactive, preventative and reactive support remotely and onsite.

“In an increasingly competitive global market, the benefits of an ‘always-on’ managed network are priceless,” said Paul Cronin, vice president of Atrion. “Without any heavy investment, our Reseller Alliance Program, allows integrators to optimize and protect their clients’ critical assets while raising profits and creating strategic relationships within their client-base. Atrion has over 13 years of managed service trust and experience. We are excited to share it with our fellow VAR’s and to foster a reliable, 24/7/365 partnership.”

The RA Program can be operating in approximately one week of contract with Atrion and has the potential to add over $1 million in annual revenue to the bottom line in the first year.

In Nov. 2008, Forrester Research stated that “a perfect storm is brewing” for managed services. Cronin advises all VAR’s; “The race is on. If you are not selling managed services to your clients, then someone else will – and you will lose a valuable profit and relationship opportunity.”
