Sarasota, FL, January 18, 2009 --(PR.com
)-- One of the nation’s leading ventilation manufacturers is growing despite the tough economy. American Aldes Ventilation Corporation has been fortunate to sustain strong growth by engineering unique products that respond to today’s environmental and economic demands.
With today’s market conditions it is imperative to quickly adapt and take action. American Aldes has taken this a step further by anticipating forthcoming building code changes and engineering products that most effectively meet the impending new requirements. The new line of ENERGY STAR rated Ventergy® Series fans are specifically engineered to be a cost effective means to meet the ventilation requirements of ASHRAE 62.2 that are being adopted into building codes, and required for Energy Star and LEEDS certified homes.
As an example, the California Energy Commission adopted the 2008 Title 24 Residential Compliance Manual on December 17th, 2008 and builders have until August 1st 2009 to be in full compliance. The new code requires the ASHRAE 62.2 standard, and has significant changes in ventilation requirements for single family and low-rise multifamily dwelling units for acceptable Indoor Air Quality. This new code is a great step forward in providing necessary clean air in the newer energy efficient homes being built much tighter than homes of the past.
American Aldes has also introduced a new “Fresh” look with a new corporate logo and a totally redesigned website to coincide with the focus on environmentally friendly products that provide fresh air and save energy. The new website is still being expanded and will include several online tools to help contractors take the guesswork out of building effective IAQ solutions.
American Aldes Ventilation Corporation has promoted John Harrell as President, who served as an official consultant to the ASHRAE 62.2 committee, and also employed Scott Madden as their Director of Sales and Business Development. Scott has always championed Indoor Air Quality during his previous tenure with Honeywell and Lennox.
