Thrill Street Considers Studio Bids for Intensely Scary "Clown Kollege"

Thrill Street Entertainment (www.ThrillStreet.com) is banking on a lot of movie goers who hate clowns, but flock to them like moths to a flame. Boca Raton, FL, January 19, 2009 --(PR.com)-- Do you hate clowns? Thrill Street Entertainment (www.ThrillStreet.com) is banking on a lot of movie goers who hate clowns, but flock to them like moths to a flame. They just acquired the independent horror film, "Clown Kollege", the newest screenplay from writer - director, Michael Dugan, and it is described as the freakiest, scariest, most twisted screenplay ever written.

Shauna Monahan, Vice President of Acquisitions at Thrill Street Entertainment said, "I had nightmares for two weeks after reading this script. Clowns freak me out, and these clowns make the most evil clowns you've ever seen look gentle and innocent."

"Clown Kollege" is budgeted at a little over $3 million dollars, so Thrill Street is considering teaming up with either a major studio or a strong independent. Monahan stated, "This is a gritty, terrifying horror film with enormous potential. The clown-slasher film is already creating viral mayhem on the internet, but a studio's resources could give it the marketing push it needs to become the next huge horror franchise."

Writer - Director, Michael Dugan who won "Best Director" and "Best Comedy" for his HBO comedy film, "Raging Hormones" has reached into his dark side for this horror project. "I wrote "Clown Kollege" to be so freaky and scary you won't sleep for a week. I will not pull punches… these clowns are mean, insane, and sadistic."

Even in contemporary advertising, like the baby who makes so many E-Trades he can hire a clown but realizes how freaky they are, clowns are scary and haunting. The clowns in "Clown Kollege" are so evil, diabolical, and menacing that they go beyond the envelope of pure horror to absolute insidious pathological predators.

"If you fear clowns, this will freak you out. If you don't fear clowns… you will after this film.", Dugan said. "This script will make the little hairs on your neck stand up. You do not want to read it after dark. The film will be even more intense."

"Production is slated to start in early April. We are giving investors a tight window to join us, but this idea is so much bigger than the budget that we will self-finance in order to be in the theaters by Halloween 2009. This will be the next huge horror franchise."
